Churches Across Lebanon Have Opened Their Doors To Take In Displaced Lebanese People
When leaving isn’t an option, Lebanese people have to resort to religious houses and schools for protection.
In response to the escalating crisis and the displacement of Southern citizens, churches across Lebanon have opened their doors to displaced Lebanese people regardless of religion.
The image showing the church hosting displaced Lebanese from the South went viral across Lebanon.
As the situation intensifies, many families have fled their homes seeking shelter and safety. Over 100,000 Lebanese have spent the majority of their day on the road, making their way from the South to Beirut. Some still are stuck in traffic to this very instant while some are taking the road to Syria.
