Kohli makes history, scores 50th century in ODI cricket to surpass Tendulkar

Muscat: Ace India batsman Virat Kohli scripted new chapters in the history books by getting his 50th ODI century in the ongoing India vs New Zealand match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Kohli has now surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries. Virat Kohli also overtook the Master Blaster in terms of the most runs and the most 50-plus scores in a single edition of the World Cup.

Kohli scored a massive 117 runs off 113 balls in the electrifying match. India was 327 at the time in the 40th over.
